Miss K’s Experience
As my 30th birthday approached, I decided it was time to do something daring and empowering for myself. So, I booked a full-day boudoir session with Monroe & Co. Boudoir. I was nervous, but excited, as I stepped into the studio and was immediately struck by the elegance of the space. The blue Victorian couch, rich tones, velvet curtains, and natural light created a dreamy atmosphere that made me feel like a Hollywood starlet.
"Welcome! I'm Carli, the owner and photographer," said a bubbly voice. I got to the top of the stairs to see Carli with a warm smile and infectious laughter that immediately put me at ease. "Let's get you glammed up, gorgeous!"
The day started with hair and makeup, and I couldn't believe how beautiful I looked. "Wow, I don't even recognize myself!" I exclaimed.
Carli led me to the client closet, which was filled to the brim with lingerie in every size and style. "Try on anything that catches your eye, and I'll help you select the ones that flatter your curves the most," she said. I tried on several pieces, and we chatted as she offered her expert advice. "That's it, girl! You're looking amazing!" Carli cheered as I stepped out in a black lace bodysuit.
The shoot itself was a whirlwind of poses and movements, but Carli made it all feel effortless. "You're a natural! Work it, work it!" she encouraged me. "Now give me that smoldering look!" I felt like I was channeling my inner goddess with every click of the camera. We chatted and laughed throughout the whole session, and I felt like I had made a new friend.
After all the shooting and posing, Carli sent me off to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. "I knew you'd be hungry after all that work! Take a break and enjoy some food and I’ll see you in an hour and a half," she said.
Finally, it was time for the same-day reveal — the best part! Carli showed me a slideshow of my images, and I was blown away. "Oh my god, I look amazing!" I gasped. "You really captured my best angles. I’ve never seen myself like this before!" Carli helped me select my favorite images, and I knew I wanted to preserve them in a luxury album.
As we wrapped up the day with hugs and laughter, Carli said, "You should be so proud of yourself for doing this. You look incredible, and you radiate confidence now." I left the studio feeling like a new person, thanks to Monroe & Co. Boudoir and Carli's infectious personality. "I can't wait to show these off to my partner," I thought to myself with a smile.
