Your Boudoir Experience

So you’re on the fence about booking your boudoir session...THAT’S OKAY! I realize that it is scary to think about wearing lingerie in front of a stranger. My goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible, from your initial inquiry to the delivery of your products. I love knowing all the details before I commit to something to help ease my nerves.

Here’s all the details on what you can expect during your boudoir session:

Once you inquire, you will be sent a brochure with tons of information. It contains all the details about cost and next steps. After you’ve read through the brochure, we’ll hop on a call to schedule your session date. I will answer any remaining questions you might have for me. After your session is booked, you will receive a series of emails from me leading up to your session to help you properly prepare. 

When session day finally arrives, you will come to my beautiful in-home studio, where all the magic happens. You will begin by sitting for hair and makeup, followed by picking out your lingerie. You will have access to my complimentary client closet but you are absolutely welcome to bring your own. I will help you decide which pieces to wear and help you make adjustments to ensure a proper fit. Consent and comfort are very important to me. I will never touch without asking or force you to do something that makes you uncomfortable. Once you are dressed, we will start your portrait session. 

If you’re thinking, “But Carli, I have no idea how to pose!”, that is perfectly fine because that’s my job. I will make sure you look great from your hair to pointed toes. I also send you tips prior to your session to get you prepared for these crazy poses. Of course, I will accommodate any injuries, pregnancy, or level of flexibility. I love having fun, so I’m positive there will be tons of laughter throughout your whole session. 

Then you’re off to your favorite local restaurant for lunch! Of course, lunch is my treat. After your delicious meal, you’ll join me back in the studio to view your fully retouched images and place your product orders. 

That’s right -- same day viewing and ordering appointments!

The only waiting you have to do is waiting for your gorgeous products to be delivered! I use professional labs which ensure amazing quality, like albums rated for 100 years! *gasp!* I am certain that you will immediately fall in love with seeing your gorgeous self in print. 

It is normal to feel nervous, but I’m positive that my bubbly personality and goofy jokes will make your worries quickly melt away. I instantly become your personal hype-woman and I will show you how incredible you look with several peeks at the back of my camera. I will give you several breaks throughout your session to drink water, relax, and change outfits.
